Support my 6-month trip to Guatemala

In my blog’s first entry I mentioned my exciting plans that I will be heading down to Guatemala in September for a 6-month long visit. During this time. I will be helping out around the educational organization Paso a Paso, learning more about the families and the community we work with, and working with Paso a Paso’s founders to develop plans for the future.

I will be traveling to Guatemala on a volunteer-basis and, thus, will have no income during these 6 months. Taking into account travel, housing, food, daily necessities, and supplies, I estimate that the trip will cost around $3,000.

Thankfully, a portion of this amount has already been sponsored by Guided Steps, Faith Lutheran Church, and my personal coffers.

But I really need your help in rallying support for the remainder.
